Journal

Philosophical Studies in Education is published annually by the Ohio Valley Philosophy of Education Society. The purpose of the journal is to provide a forum for the exchange of scholarly articles dealing with philosophical ideas related to education and schooling, theory and practice, and the differing aims which generally constitute the philosophy of education discipline. All articles and editorials appearing in Philosophical Studies in Education are the expressions and viewpoints of the particular writers and do not necessarily represent Philosophical Studies in Education or the Ohio Valley Philosophy of Education Society.

Past Issues

All works accepted at the Ohio Valley Philosophy of Education Society annual conference will be considered for publication in Philosophical Studies in Education if they are received by the Editor on or before December 1 of the year of acceptance for presentation. Papers received on or before December 1 will be considered for publication by an editorial review board, consisting of the Editor and Contributing Editor of Philosophical Studies in Education and the Program Committee of the Ohio Valley Philosophy of Education Society, and will make final decisions based on double-blind review about articles to be included in the journal.
