The Ohio Valley Philosophy of Education Society is pleased to announce the publication of the OVPES 2017 final program. You can access the program by clicking the button below. Please note that several sessions have changed times due to room conflicts. The conference is kicking off at 3pm on Friday, October 13th with a graduate student pre-conference panel on Strategies for Success in the Job Market, a graduate keynote lecture from Kirk Anderson (University of Wisconsin, Madison), and a conference reception with drinks, hors d’ oeuvres, and a live jazz band. Saturday features a keynote address from Megan Laverty (Columbia), a reception hosted by the Center for Ethics and Education, and much more.

We would like to remind you to register for the conference soon, as rooms at the venue are almost full. The final day to register has been moved to September 28th, 2017 at 11:59 pm. OVPES must give a final head count to the venue on the following day in order to ensure that rooms, board and registration space are available for each attendee. Those who register after this date will be charged a $15 penalty. Please note that room and conference prices favor two-night stays and double room choices.
